For UK residents there are a variety of ways to give: 

1. Direct Transfer:

To donate money towards the work of the hospital the easiest and safest way is via direct bank transfer.  United Mission to Nepal has a good system offering various tax-efficient ways of sending money to Tansen Mission Hospital. Please click www.umn.org.np/main.php?m=giving  to be directed to their web page giving the different ways to donate.

Once the transfer has been made please e-mail UMN the details  – amount, your name, date, reference number (if available) as well as designating that the funds are for Tansen Mission Hospital and where you would like to see the money used e.g. for the Medical Assistance Fund, building work, etc. This makes it easier for us to track the payment from this end. 

2. By cheque:

The other alternative is to send a cheque made payable to United Mission Hospital Tansen (indicating what the money is to be used for e.g. for the Medical Assistance Fund – MAF, building work, new equipment purchase, etc) and post to:

Again, please advise us of postage details so we can ensure it arrives safely and contact you again if it is not received. One other, safer, option would be to send the cheque with someone visiting Tansen from your own country. If you contact us we can let you know details of anyone that may be traveling back to Tansen in the near future.All donations made will receive a letter of acknowledgement and thanks.
